What to expect from an average beginner/intermediate lesson.
We begin with an essential warm up to get your muscles ready for a serious workout, This lasts approx 15 minutes. 60 minutes (approx) learning new spins, inverts, holds, transitions, fillers and floorwork on average 3 per lesson. However this varies according to the individual. Courses are tailored to your needs so we will spend longer on things should you require it or less time should you pick it up really easily. As you progress the course increases in difficulty, and many things may take longer to master. Please keep this in mind..... Advanced moves may take several weeks and lots of blood sweat and tears to achieve.
We do a 15 minute cool down and stretch out, this will help prevent you from experiencing muscle stiffness and unnecessary aching during the following days......however I do expect you to feel like you have worked out the next day!!
At the end of each lesson you will be provided with an information sheet with what you have been taught during the lesson. This is for you to take home to remind you of what to practice (if you have access to a pole) if not learning the names of the different spins etc. and reading through the worksheet will keep it fresh in your mind for your next lesson and enable you to remember the moves when planning a routine. A photo diary of your achievements is offered as a complementary gift! I will happily take a photo of you when you have mastered a new move, hold etc. These are useful to look back on when practising and also to remind you of your journey and how far you have come. (Especially useful when you are having a bad pole day!)
A certificate will also be presented when you reach bench mark points in the course to acknowledge your well earned achievements.
What to wear
Shoes, vest top, hoodie or jumper and tracksuit bottoms and shorts. Leg Warmers and wrist sweatbands are recommended but not essential. Please bring a towel.

Pole fitness is focused on the fitness rather than the erotic dance side. Anyone can do it, no matter how old and size is no object!!
Learn the sensual erotic way to pole dance while getting fit and having fun!! Pole dance lessons consist of all the the fitness moves but will also include the fun flirty side. Learn spins, holds, tricks, floor work , routines and how to set this to music.
... Want to improve your flexibility? Determined to get into those splits? Want to perfect your pole moves by stretching further? Then this workshop is for you. A complete workshop focusing only on flexibility. This is also a very good relaxation class for non pole students who wish to take a more gentle fitness class.
Muscle building/Cardio boot camp
Want to shed the excess pounds? Get in shape quickly for the summer with this intensive cardio workout Ideally students should be able to climb and invert. You will be warmed up then given a rigorous set of moves and holds to really get your heart pumping, the pounds dropping, and muscles building!! Not for the faint hearted! I take no prisoners during this class. If you want a testing workout, and to be driven to fitness this class is for you!!
Muscle building cardio workout.
This is a cardio, strength building workout, deigned to get your heart racing and those muscles working. After a 15 min warm up you will be put through your paces for a good 60 minutes hard work out both up and down the pole!!!! Women will need a basic knowledge of pole and ideally be able to climb and invert. This is not necessary for males as they generally have more upper body strength Courses can be adapted if you are unable to climb or invert. We will then finish with a well deserved 15 minute cool down.......phew
Special occasion class
Perhaps you would like to wow your partner with a little flirty dance? Perhaps for a birthday treat? This burlesque type class will teach you to be body confident and to dance with either a pole or a chair. You will learn the art of being subtly flirty. We will also teach you the art of using props to dance and how to choreograph your own unique routine.
